Free shuttle buses from Prague to Cesky Krumlov will be available for all registered participants on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Departure point will be in front of the building of Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB), Flemingovo namesti 2, Prague 6 (please see the map). The first bus will depart at 4 p.m. (16.00); the second one at 4.45 p.m. (16.45) and the third one at 5.30 pm (17:30) - the journey takes ca 3.5 h. Please note that you should get from the airport to IOCB on your own (see instructions below). Please try to schedule your flight so that you arrive at 15.00 at the latest to safely catch the bus. If you arrive in the morning, there will be a possibility to leave your luggage at the reception of IOCB during the day and do some sightseeing in Prague.
The departure from Cesky Krumlov back to Prague will be organized on Friday June 9 at7:30 and 8.00 a.m. and the buses will go first to the airport and then to IOCB. The arrival to the airport is expected at 11:30 and 12.00 at the latest so any afternoon flights should be possible to catch.
About one month before the event, all participants will be asked to fill an "Additional information form" where you will be asked to subscribe for the buses (or alternatively, inform us that you are not willing to use the bus transport and want to come to Cesky Krumlov and/or back on your own). In case you are not going to stay for the whole duration of the conference (either arrive later or leave earlier), please inform us by e-mail to: org@scnac.com (please note that we will not provide you any individual free transport to or from Cesky Krumlov but we may assist you in finding the best public transport option).
Transport from airport
Public bus No. 119 from the Prague Airport to Metro A station Veleslavín (17 minutes journey, operates from 5-24h. daily in 5-30 min.interval). Bus station is close to the terminal exits. Ticket price is 32 CZK in the ticket machines or newspaper stands, but 40 CZK if bought from the driver and it is valid for 90 minutes for all public transport in Prague (metro, tram, bus). With green line Metro A please go to the station Dejvická - the journey will take 4 minutes, 2 stations. After taking off on the Dejvická station (Vitezne namesti) please follow the map.
Airport microbus CEDAZ service (white microbuses). During day time microbuses depart every half hour to Dejvicka (Vitezne namesti) - price 150 CZK, operate 7.30 - 19 hrs.
Airport taxi service: AAA (English speaking operators). The basic price is 28 CZK per kilometer. AAA taxis can be called at tel. nos.: 14 0 14 or 222 333 222 or mobile no.: 729 33 11 33. The prefix for Czech Republic is 00420 (if calling from your personal mobile phone). Taxi AAA from airport to Flemingovo namesti is about CZK 400 – 500. AAA is a reliable taxi service.
